Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Emotional Intelligence in Artistic Leadership” 13-21 November Fruedenstadt About the Project In November 2025, the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Emotional Intelligence in Artistic Leadership” brought together young people from Germany, Serbia, Croatia, Sweden, and Türkiye in Freudenstadt, Germany. – The project focused on exploring emotional intelligence as a key skill for leadership, communication, and cooperation in today’s society. Through artistic workshops, theatre, role-play, and interactive group activities, participants explored ways to better understand and express emotions. Working in an international environment also allowed them to exchange perspectives, build intercultural connections, and strengthen teamwork skills. Objectives By taking part, participants have: Developed self-awareness and emotional regulation skills Learned to express emotions through artistic activities Gained confidence in leadership and teamwork Experienced intercultural collaboration with peers from across Europe Discovered practical tools for integrating emotional intelligence into youth work and daily life Activities and Workshops The program combined non-formal learning methods with creative expression to help participants explore emotional intelligence in a practical way.Some of the main activities included: Artistic workshops focused on expressing emotions through creative mediums Theatre and role-play exercises exploring empathy and communication Group discussions and reflection sessions about emotional awareness Team-building activities that strengthened trust and cooperation Intercultural evenings where participants shared traditions, food, and culture from their countries Practical information Dates: 13 – 21 November 2025 (including travel days) Location: Freudenstadt The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme In November 2025, young people from across Europe gathered in Freudenstadt, Germany to take part in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Emotional Intelligence in Artistic Leadership.” The project brought together participants from Germany, Serbia, Croatia, Sweden, and Türkiye, creating a space where creativity, collaboration, and emotional awareness could flourish. In today’s rapidly changing world, emotional intelligence is considered one of the most important skills for the future. According to the World Economic Forum, it plays a key role in leadership, teamwork, and effective communication. Through this exchange, participants explored how emotional intelligence can be developed through artistic expression and non-formal education. During the youth exchange, participants engaged in a variety of interactive workshops and activities designed to strengthen their emotional awareness and leadership skills. Through the project, participants developed important skills that are essential for young leaders today. Participants explored how to recognize and manage their emotions, gaining tools that help them remain calm and focused in challenging situations. Bringing together participants from five different countries created a rich intercultural environment where young people could share perspectives and learn from one another. The youth exchange provided participants with practical tools for integrating emotional intelligence into their daily lives, community work, and future leadership roles. By combining art, leadership, and emotional awareness, the project demonstrated how non-formal education can empower young people to become more empathetic, confident, and resilient leaders.
