About Us

Uroboros Youth Empowerment Association is a vibrant and innovative organization recently established in Croatia. Founded by a passionate group of individuals dedicated to making a meaningful impact, the organization aims to empower and support young people across the nation.

Our mission is to facilitate the development of civil society and foster civic values through a program of non-formal educational activities accessible to all citizens, with a special focus on youth.

We organize a wide range of activities, including seminars, workshops, and training sessions on important topics such as education, human rights, and labor market skills. These activities are designed to equip individuals with the competencies needed to succeed in today’s job market and to encourage responsibility and active citizenship.

In addition, we promote cooperation on regional, international, and European levels. We build partnerships with organizations and communities in order to strengthen cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

A key focus of our work is raising awareness among young people about the importance of participating in local events and initiatives. We encourage them to take an active role in their communities and continuously develop their skills and knowledge.

Through our activities, we aim to contribute to the personal and professional development of young people and support the creation of an engaged, informed, and empowered generation.

Our Team

Andrea Vukovic

Andrea Vuković, the President and Founder of our organization, brings extensive experience in youth projects at both local and international levels. Her journey with Erasmus+ began in 2018 as a participant herself, giving her a unique insight into the transformative power of international youth mobility. In 2022, she founded Uroboros with a clear vision: to open doors for young people to explore new cultures, build meaningful connections, and grow through international experiences.

Over the years, she has dedicated herself to promoting youth involvement and personal development, and her role has grown to encompass project design, grant writing, and the development of educational content and methodologies. At the beginning of this year, she started working as a freelance trainer in various training fields. She is also committed to raising awareness at the local level each year, in collaboration with a local faculty, she presents at the university freshers’ fair, introducing new students to the world of Erasmus+ and the opportunities their organization offers.

She also serves as Communication Coordinator and Logistics Manager, overseeing travel arrangements, reimbursements, and communication with partners and participants.

Nada Sikra, the Vice President of the organization, plays a key role in managing responsibilities in the absence of the President. She is also responsible for participant profiling and selection in projects where the organization acts as a sending organization, ensuring that the right participants are matched with the right opportunities.

She is particularly focused on creating fair and transparent selection processes, with the aim of providing equal opportunities for young people from different backgrounds. Through her work, she contributes to maintaining the quality of project participation and strengthening the overall impact of the organization’s activities.

Nada Sikra

Lazar Stosic

Lazar Stosic is the Project Manager of the organization, is responsible for planning and developing project ideas together with the team. He monitors project timelines and oversees the implementation of activities, ensuring that all processes run efficiently and in alignment with the organization’s goals.

In addition to his project management role, Lazar leads the visual direction of the organization. He is responsible for design, branding, and the overall visual identity. Through his work, he contributes to presenting the organization in a clear, professional, and visually compelling way, helping strengthen its communication and impact.
